WELCOME TO OBAMATOONS

Welcome to one of the few political cartoon sites you'll find which is exclusively devoted to Barack Obama.

As the name of this site suggests, most of the content you'll find here pokes fun at, and uncovers, the funny - and not so funny things about President Barack Obama.

Whether you like Barack Obama or not, it is my hope that you will enjoy this unapologetically partisan, but funny depiction of the President of the United States, Barack Obama.

My love for country... and cartooning, compels me to add, in a small but humerous way, to the national political dialogue. It is my hope that this blog is one which you will enjoy - and look forward to visiting often - as I will do my best to keep it interesting, funny, and provocative.

If you like what you see, please let others know about Obamatoons. If there is a cartoon you especially enjoy and you would like to share it with someone you know, just hit the "envelope button" at the bottom of the picture to e-mail it to them! If you would like to weigh-in and comment on any one Obama toon, you are free to do so... Just click on "comments" also located at the at the bottom of the picture.

“The thing is, [Barack Obama] is not buffoonish in any way,” said Mike Barry, who started writing political jokes for Johnny Carson’s monologues in the waning days of the Johnson administration and has lambasted every presidential candidate since, most recently for Mr. Letterman. “He’s not a comical figure,” Mr. Barry said. - http://www.newyorktimes./

Barack Obama - Not a comical figure?

Coming from a well known political joke writer, this is hard for me to believe. In this blog, I will attempt to take on Mr. Barry's "quasi-quandary" as a challenge to find funny things about our President.
